COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – “America’s Got Talent” Season 16 has now reached the fifth round of auditions with tonight’s all-new episode, and the final Golden Buzzer of the season was awarded to a quick-change act that must be seen to be believed.
Heidi Klum awarded Léa Kyle the Golden Buzzer after an iconic quick-change performance performed to “Swish Swish” and “Part of Me” by Katy Perry.
Howie Mandel gave the first Golden Buzzer of Season 16, choosing Northwell Health Nurse Choir. Simon Cowell did the honors next, catapulting singer and Ohio native, Nightbirde, into the nation’s consciousness with her hit song “It’s OK.” In episode three, Terry Crews selected World Taekwondo Demonstration Team for his top honor. Finally, last week Sofia Vergara picked singer Jimmie Herrod to go straight to the finals.
Watch “AGT” tonight on NBC4 at 8 p.m. followed by an all-new “College Bowl” at 10 p.m.
