It’s finally Halloween month, y’all!

For those of us who love to celebrate the holiday all month long, we’ve rounded up six inexpensive ways you can get your spooky on this weekend in central Ohio:

All weekend:

Gateway Film Center is celebrating the master of suspense himself at their annual Alfred Hitchcock film festival. On Friday, catch the final showings of this year’s run of North by Northwest and on Saturday, the showing of Rope begins. Prices vary by showtime but they start at just $5 for shows starting before noon.

The Sick World of Doctor Show at MadLab!

Get ready for some monsters with your comedy, scarily funny short films and more at MadLab this Friday. This hybrid performance marries live action, video screens and breaking the fourth wall with an offbeat sense of humor and a love of classic monster movies to deliver a performance unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Tickets are just $6 and the show starts at 10pm.

Friday and Saturday:

Ghost Stories & Inn Tours

Head to picturesque Granville for the evening and discover the haunted history behind the town’s historic Buxton Inn. The original tavern was built in 1812 and was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Most of the ghosts rumored to frequent the place include the inn’s former owners and employees. The 1-hour tours are at 8 and 10pm and tickets are just $8 per person.

Marcus Theatres Fright Nights

Head over to either the Crosswoods Marcus Theatre or the Pickerington Marcus Theatre and strap yourself in for one of the most famous horror films of all-time, The Shining. The movie starts at 10pm and tickets are only $5. Can’t make it this weekend? Stop next weekend for IT or The weekend of Oct. 25-27 to see The Exorcist.

Boo ‘N Brew Fall Festival

Head over to the Polaris Lifestyle Center for both family-friendly and legal drinking age fun on Saturday from 11am to 2pm. There will be a beer garden for those old enough to imbibe and there are plenty of kid-friendly activities, including costume parades and trick-or-treating. Everything is free, except the adult beverages.

Nina West Presents! The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Celebrate the draggiest of all Halloween cult favorites with Columbus’ favorite drag queen, Nina West, at the Gateway Film Center This sing-along extravaganza will have you laughing and dancing and doing the Time Warp again. Tickets are just $15. There will be a mixer for guests at 4:30pm and the show starts at 6pm.
