In life, people are often motivated to do things based on personal experience, whether their own or a loved ones.  In the case of Zach Thompson, it’s both.  When his mother was diagnosed with a heart condition, him and his siblings were tested and he ended up being diagnosed with the same condition at age 22.

He immediately received a pacemaker and that pacemaker saved his life 3 times.  He is now a lifestyle coach and personal trainer, encouraging himself and others to live a heart healthy life.

He is also involved with the American Heart Association.  You can join him and thousands of others in celebrating heart health and funding awareness and research at this year’s Heart Walk.  The walk is Saturday August 25th at McFerson Commons.
