10th Anniversary Broadcast of “The Autism Puzzle” to air Wednesday, April 11th.
NBC4 continues to raise awareness about autism with its latest edition of The Autism Puzzle. The broadcast on April 11th marks the 10th year for this locally produced series of programs dealing with the complex disorder of autism. This year’s show will air 7:00-7:30 p.m..
Hosted by NBC4’s Jerod Smalley and Ellie Merritt, this piece of the puzzle will be a continuation of a conversation about autism research, treatments and needs of those on the autism spectrum. The special will also feature:
SPARK – the landmark autism research project to advance our understanding of autism and help improve lives
Speech disorders and social difficulties stand among the most common autism traits, but autism families are growing more concerned about an even more common disorder: obesity. We'll tell you how parents are fighting the physical issues related to autism.
