
Ted Hart has called Ohio home for more than 30 years.
Prior to joining NBC4 in 2011, Ted held reporter positions at WEWS-TV in Cleveland, and WBNS-TV and WSYX-TV in Columbus.
He was also the deputy director of media relations for the Ohio Attorney General’s office from 2007-2011.
Ted grew up in Geneva, New York and is a graduate of Syracuse University. He also is an honors graduate of the Poynter Institute for Media Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Before coming to Ohio, Ted worked as a reporter at WSAZ-TV in Huntington, WV and WWNY-TV in Watertown, NY.
Ted has been honored with nine regional Emmy awards including investigative reporting, best reporter, business/consumer news, feature news, spot news, field producing and continuing coverage. He also earned best investigative reporting and best continuing coverage awards from the Ohio Associated Press, and best investigative reporting from the Press Club of Cleveland.
While at the attorney general’s office, Ted was also awarded the 2010 Ohio Attorney General’s Employee Pride Award for exemplary service to the Office, the State of Ohio and its citizens.
Ted and his wife Sara live in Westerville. They have two adult children and two dogs.
