Shawn Lanier joined NBC4 as a Multi-Media Journalist in November of 2016.
Shawn is an Ohio native. He grew up just down I-71 in Cincinnati, and he is excited to remain a journalist in the Buckeye State. He was last a Multi-Media Journalist in Cincinnati reporting on traditions and issues he grew up watching and loving. Shawn was front and center for Reds Opening Day and also followed the day-to-day grind of politics and crime in the Queen City.
While Shawn understands he lives in the home of the Buckeyes, he is still a Volunteer at heart. Shawn went to the University of Tennessee where he received his Bachelor’s degree. There he worked for the school’s website, television station, and the sports media relations department.
