Isabel joined the NBC4 team in June 2023 as a general assignment and investigative reporter.
Before coming to NBC4, Isabel was a reporter and weekend anchor and producer at NBC29 in Charlottesville, Virginia. There she told stories ranging from rising gun violence trends in the city, to local government corruption and postal delivery delays during the pandemic.
Isabel graduated from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland with a double major in broadcast journalism and international relations. While at UMD, Isabel interned for CNN’s The Situation Room. She also spent time abroad in Barcelona interning at a video production service company.
Isabel has moved around quite a bit; she was born in Maryland, then moved to Colorado, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia and now Ohio.
