Darlene Hill joined NBC4 in September, 2018, becoming the station’s 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. anchor.
The Toledo, Ohio native is excited to come back to Columbus, where she attended The Ohio State University. Before coming back to Ohio, Darlene spent more than two decades at FOX32 in Chicago. During her career, she won numerous regional and national awards, including the prestigious Peabody Award, the Edward R. Murrow Award and multiple Emmy Awards.
Darlene began her career three weeks after graduating from Ohio State, when she accepted a reporter position in Monterey, California. Her career then took her to Chicago, where she covered the Democratic National Convention, the 2008 Presidential Inauguration and local issues impacting Chicago and the surrounding communities. Darlene has two children, who are both in college.
