Dan Pearlman

Dan Pearlman joined the NBC4 staff in June 2014.

A native of Cincinnati, Dan came to Columbus from KJRH-TV, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

It was there, in 2013, where he won a Heartland Regional Emmy Award for his coverage of a massive school fire.

While in Oklahoma, Dan was also one of the first reporters to arrive in the suburb of Moore, to cover a deadly EF-5 tornado. He spent five days reporting on the aftermath of the storm.

Since arriving in Central Ohio, Dan has covered some of the region’s most newsworthy events, including the 2014 Reynoldsburg teacher’s strike, the murders of eight relatives in Pike County, and the attack which left 13 people injured at The Ohio State University.

Dan holds two Bachelors of Arts degrees in broadcast journalism and political science, from American University.

His first job in television was at WRC-TV, in Washington, D.C., where he served as a production assistant and field producer.

Dan also spent three years reporting for KLKN-TV, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
