LeBron, Cavs May Come To Columbus For Preseason

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBUS, Ohio - LeBron is coming home, but he may make a stop in Columbus first.

The NBA has not yet released the preseason schedule, but when it is official, there is a good chance that the Cleveland Cavaliers will have a game in Columbus – and that means a chance to see James without making the two-hour trip up Interstate 71.

The Cavs have made multiple trips to the Schottenstein Center to play in preseason games, including last season. That game drew 11,000 fans.

The last time the Cavs played in Columbus with James on the floor, there were 18,000 fans in attendance.

So if the Cavaliers do come to Central Ohio, you can expect it to be a hot ticket.

The game most likely would be in mid-to late-October.

The complete preseason schedule should be released soon, and so far, the Cavaliers have announced two games – one in Cleveland and another in Rio de Janeiro.
