CFD, Hazmat Team Responds To Warehouse Oven Fire

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus firefighters and hazmat crews were called to the scene of a fire at a warehouse in west Columbus Thursday morning.

Crews responded to the warehouse, which is an alloy plant, located in the 1100 block of Joyce Avenue at about 7:20 a.m.

Fire officials tell NBC4 titanium caught fire inside of an oven. The fire was put out by special extinguishers. The only hazard was the smoke.

No injuries were reported, according to fire officials.

No other information was immediately released.
