Police are investigating whether a trend of flipping Smart cars from California, is hitting here in Columbus. Police are investigating whether a trend of flipping Smart cars from California, is hitting here in Columbus.
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus police say a Smart car was flipped in an area just south of The Ohio State University campus early Wednesday morning.

Officers are trying to determine whether a trend of flipping Smart cars that appears to have started in California, is hitting here in Columbus.

According to police, officers responded to the area of West 8th and Hunter avenues after a Smart car in the area was flipped.

Police say it appears the suspects attempted to flip a second Smart car because it was moved into the middle of the road.

No arrests have been made at this time.
