COLUMBUS, Ohio - A man suspected in two robberies has been apprehended, but a woman who was with him is still at large.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, the same man is suspected of robbing the BP gas station on Harrisburg Pike in Franklin Township, and the Speedway gas station on West Broad Street in Prairie Township.

The first robbery occurred at the BP at 1825 Harrisburg Pike at about 11:40 a.m. on Feb. 26.

Detectives said it appears that the suspect in both robberies is the same person.

Franklin County Sheriff’s Office detectives later identified the suspect as Thomas J. Macleod. A warrant for aggravated robbery was issued for his arrest, and he was apprehended without incident Monday and transported to the Franklin County Jail.
