McArthur Man Crashes Into Tree, Seriously Injured

ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio - A 32-year-old McArthur man was injured when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree in Athens County Monday morning.

According to the Athens post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on U.S. 50 at about 10:28 a.m. Monday.

Troopers said Charles F. Wallace IV, 32, of McArthur, was driving a 1996 GMC Sonoma eastbound on U.S. 50 when he drove off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Wallace was flown to Cabel-Huntington Hospital with a serious injury to the head.

No other details were released, but NBC4 will update as we learn new information.
