Two people were arrested after an active meth lab was found in Athens County Thursday.
According to Athens County Sheriff Pat Kelly, the search warrant was executed at a residence at 10500 state Route 682 in Athens Thursday night.
Kelly said detectives received information of an active methamphetamine lab at the home.
The resident, 31-year-old Yancey Hunter was arrested and charged with assembly/possession of chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine.
Another resident, 25-year-old Carly Campbell, was arrested on a warrant out of Athens County.
Hunter and Campbell were transported to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
The sheriff's office said additional charges are pending.
