COLUMBUS, Ohio -

Fort Hayes Arts and Academic High School was locked down for more than an hour Tuesday morning after a vague threat was found.

According to Columbus City Schools, the school at 546 Jack Gibbs Blvd. was under a precautionary level two lockdown.

According to a letter sent home to parents, school officials said a vague threat was found written on a bathroom wall.

As a result, the lockdown was issued, meaning that students could not move between classes and that no one could enter or leave the buildings.

Police responded and found nothing to substantiate the threat.

The lockdown was lifted shortly after Noon.

School officials said in the letter, "Threats of any kind are no joke, and any student(s) found to be participating in such activities will face swift disciplinary action and potential criminal prosecution."
