1 Killed When Car Hits Tree, OSHP Says

MARION COUNTY, Ohio -

The driver of a car was killed Saturday morning when he struck a tree in Marion County.

According to the Marion post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Justin S. Clark, 26, of Marion, was driving his vehicle on state Route 309, west of Decliff Road in Grand Township, at about 10:23 a.m. Saturday.

Troopers said that Clark drove off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Clark was extracted by firefighters and pronounced dead at the scene.

Clark was the only occupant of the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt, according to troopers.

The crash remains under investigation.
