Missing Powell Teen Found Safe In Kentucky

POWELL, Ohio -

Powell police said a missing 17-year-old boy was found safe in Kentucky Wednesday.

According to police, the alert was issued for William "Billy" Scheetz, who was last seen around midnight Monday, Sept. 9.

Scheetz was found safe by the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office after he was spotted at the Burger King in Mount Washingtin, Ky. Officers responded and found Scheetz in the area.

He was believed to have been driving a dark blue 2012 Ford Fiesta with Ohio license FMR-5095. The vehicle was recovered on U.S. 31 in Mount Washington.

No further information was immediately released.
