DELAWARE COUNTY, Ohio -

One person was hospitalized following a crash involving an injury in the southbound lanes of U.S. 23 in Delaware County Thursday morning.

According to Delaware County officials, the injury crash occurred in the southbound lanes of U.S. 23, between Corduroy Road and Gooding Blvd., In Lewis Center, at about 9:59 a.m.

The crash involved a semi-truck and a car, according to officials.

One person was transported from the scene to Riverside Methodist Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Traffic was diverted from U.S. 23 south to Corduroy Road, to Gooding Blvd., and then back to U.S. 23. The restriction was lifted by 3 p.m., according to ODOT officials.
