Columbus police officers are searching for a man suspect of shooting another man on the city's south side early Friday morning.
Officers received a 911 call from an employee at a Rally's restaurant located at 3187 Cleveland Avenue just after 3 a.m. Friday.
The employees told police a man with a gunshot wound to the head had walked into the building asking for help.
The victim, identified as Tony Dobson, 48, was transported to the Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University, where he is listed in stable condition.
After speaking with the victim, officers learned the shooting occurred in the 1900 block of Oakland Park at about 2:55 a.m.
Police said Dobson was walking westbound in the area when he was approached by a male he knows as "Daryl." Police said "Daryl" had some words with Dobson and then shot him one time in the back of the head with a revolver.
The investigation continues.
