A Central Ohio program is catering to single mothers who
have been overcome by recent hardships.
At St. Terese's Retreat Center, four Central Ohio women have
put together the Women's Respite Program.
The program works with 20 agencies to take 25 mothers living
in rough neighborhoods away from their troubles for a few hours, so that they
can refresh their spirits and build a support system.
The program was started 15 years ago and has helped more than
375 women to date.
