Two teenage boys reported missing Thursday morning, leading to the issuance of a statewide Amber Alert, have been found dead, according to the Ottawa Police Department.

According to police, the bodies of the two missing juveniles were found at about 5:20 p.m. Thursday.

Police and agents from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI&I) responded to a Putnam County mobile home in the 1500 block of North Perry, in Ottawa, where the boys were last seen, to begin the investigation Thursday afternoon.

The investigation was tipped off by the third teenager who was reported missing in the Amber Alert Thursday morning.

Columbus police officers say they found the vehicle, a silver Chevrolet HHR, involved in the Amber Alert out of Putnam County at a gas station in the area of Hague Avenue and West Broad Street, in west Columbus, at about 1 p.m. Thursday.

A clerk at the gas station tells NBC4 they saw a vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle the teens were believed to be in and called police.

Officers said 17-year-old Michael Aaron Fey was found in the vehicle.

Fey reportedly gave police the location of the bodies of 14-year-old Blaine Romes and 17-year-old Blake Aaron Romes.

Police said Fey is a suspect in the investigation. He is currently being held in a Franklin County Jail. No charges have been filed against him at this time.

The Putnam County Coroner has ordered autopsies to determine the cause of the deaths.

According to the Ohio Amber Plan, the teens were last seen at 11:20 a.m. Thursday.

No other information has been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
