Woman Found Unconscious With Broken Neck In Morrow County

MORROW COUNTY, Ohio -

A woman was found injured and unconscious along a rural road in Morrow County early Saturday.

According to the Morrow County Sheriff's Office, a 29-year-old woman was found unconscious on County Road 14 between state Route 314 and the Knox County line at about 4 a.m. Saturday.

She sustained a broken neck, severe head trauma and multiple lacerations to the face. She was flown to Grant Medical Center, where she remains unconscious in the intensive care unit.

The sheriff said the woman was last seen walking in the Pulaskiville area at about 1 a.m. Officials said she lives in the area of County Road 109 and County Road 98, and was wearing dark clothing at the time of her injury.

The sheriff is asking anyone with information to call the sheriff's office at 419-946-4444.
