Sheriff: CPD Officers Arrest Man Accused Of Sexual Assault, Rape

Bond was set at $2 million for the man who is accused of sexual assaulting and raping two teenage girls.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said that 42-year-old Jamie S. Cremeans was arrested by Columbus police officers on Saturday.

A warrant had been issued for Cremeans' arrest on March 5. He has been indicted on felony charges by the jurors of a Knox County Grand Jury for the sexual assault, rape of two minor females and administering drugs to three minor females.

Cremeans has been charged with one count of rape, two counts of gross sexual imposition, one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, and four counts of corrupting another with drugs, according to court documents, for a total of eight felony charges.

Cremeans is being held in the Franklin County Jail.

The county has until March 21 to transport him to the Knox County Jail.
