Detectives say the vehicle belonging to the city's most recent homicide victim of 2013 has not been recovered.
The body of Robert Daley, 52, was found by relatives in his home in the 6300 block of Sutherland Drive Saturday.
Detectives say Daley's vehicle, a 2009 silver Camry with Ohio license FRA6017, was reported missing from the home. Detectives also say they have evidence that leads them to believe the car is still in Franklin County, possibly in north Columbus.
Relatives found Daley's body when they became concerned about his well-being and went to his home.
On Sunday, the Franklin County coroner's office issued a ruling that Daley died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
Investigators say Daley, the father of three, was staying in Columbus during the week for his job managing a local restaurant. He lived in Mansfield with his family.
