HEBRON, Ohio -
Deputies from the Licking County Sheriff's Office are searching for a man
suspected of robbing a Hebron gas station Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies responded the Sunoco gas station located at 10285 Lancaster Road,
in Hebron, on a report of a robbery at about 4:38 p.m. Tuesday.
The clerk at the gas station told deputies that the man entered the store
and implied he had a weapon in his pocket. The clerk stated the suspect never displayed
a weapon.
The suspect reportedly took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the
store in a mid-1990's silver Honda Civic or Accord, traveling northbound on
Lancaster Road.
The suspect is described as white male in his mid 20s, who is between 5 feet
8 inches tall and 6 feet tall and weighs approximately between 140 and 170
pounds. He was last seen wearing a red ‘Ohio State' hooded sweatshirt, blue
sweatpants and tennis shoes.
No injuries were reported.
