Columbus police detectives are on the scene of a house where a body was found in the basement.
Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Wildwood Avenue at 7:40 p.m. on a report of a disturbance.
Officers arriving on the scene found the body of a woman in the basement of the home. The woman was pronounced dead at 8:32 p.m.
Detectives won't say how the woman died and they say that they are treating it as a murder investigation. There was no weapon was found inside the home.
The homeowner was interviewed by officers at Columbus police headquarters. That person was later released.
Officers are searching for a man and a woman that left the area in a four-door burgundy colored vehicle.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
