
A Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment for a man accused of falsifying documents and stealing thousands of dollars worth of tires from a Columbus tire facility.
According to the indictment, Antwyan D. Reynolds, 32, allegedly obtained about 500 tires from the Michelin distribution facility in Columbus. The tires were valued at approximately $78,000.
Investigators reported that Reynolds, who was a former regional manager for the Michelin distribution center.
It is alleged that Reynolds either gave away or sold the tires. The theft was discovered after Michelin Security conducted an internal investigation.
He has been charged with one count of theft and one count of tampering with records, according to court documents.
If he is found guilty of the charges he could be sentenced to a maximum of 12 months in prison.
