
Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol seize over $26,000 worth of heroin and Oxycodone during a traffic stop Wednesday night.
According to the OHSP, troopers stopped a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze for traffic violations, on U.S. Route 23, near Lucasville, at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Troopers performed a search of the vehicle after they say they observed criminal indicators from the driver, James Earl Brown, 46, of Muskegon, Michigan.
According to troopers, the search of the vehicle revealed 122 grams of heroin and 270 Oxycodone, worth approximately $26,400.
Brown has been charged with first degree felony possession of heroin, and second degree possession of oxycodone. He is currently being held in the Scioto County Jail.
