LEWIS CENTER, Ohio -

The Delaware County Sheriff's office is asking for help identifying a man who broke into a home in Lewis Center yesterday.

The burglary occurred at a home on Ketch Street on Tuesday.

Officials said the suspect entered the home through the back door, where the homeowner confronted him.

The suspect took off running, and jumped into a gray Ford Ranger.

Residents in Lewis center said the small town has changed greatly over the last few years, and isn't so small anymore.

Along with that growth comes increased crime.

The Lewis Center break-in is the second home burglary that the sheriff's office has issued a release on within the last month.

The suspect is described as being about 6 feet tall, but no other description was released.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 740-833-2800.
