A west Columbus freeway was closed because of a serious crash involving
a semi Tuesday night.
According to Columbus police, two cars slid into a wall in the eastbound
lanes of Interstate 70 near West Broad Street shortly after 8 p.m.
According to police, a semi jackknifed after the initial crash.
There were reports of injuries.
Eastbound I-70 was closed between West Broad Street and Interstate 670.
The road reopened shortly before 11 p.m.
