
Power has been restored to all AEP customers in the Obetz are following a crash on Williams Road that knocked down a utility pole late Monday night.
A woman called Columbus police to report a female showed up at her front door on Hinman Avenue with a stab wound at about 11:10 p.m.
Detectives say the suspect immediately fled from the area, but was followed by the Columbus police helicopter. The suspect lost control on Williams Road and crashed at 11:18 p.m., hitting a utility pole at Groveport Road.
The victim and the suspect were taken to Grant Medical Center where they were listed in stable condition.
AEP's website indicated power was restored to 470 customers at about 7:15 a.m. Obetz utility crews are still in the area working to restore power to the remaining customers. It is not clear when the repair work will be complete.
Officers have closed Williams Road at Groveport Road.
