City Asks Some Employees To Delay Arriving To Work

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBUS, Ohio -

The City of Columbus is asking all non-essential city employees to report to work by 11 a.m. on Friday.

According to Public Service Assistant Director Rick Tilton, the delay is for safety reasons in light of expected weather conditions in the morning.

Essential personnel, such as firefighters, police officers, and refuse workers should report to work according to their normal schedule.

Trash pickup will proceed Friday as normal.

Columbus Public Health services are delayed until 11 a.m.
