Ohio University has issued a crime alert after an attempted robbery on the campus' East Green.
According to Ohio University police, the robbery attempt occurred at about 7 p.m. Tuesday on Edgehill Drive, near Lincoln Hall, on Ohio University's East Green.
A woman reported that a man approached her with a knife and demanded money.
The woman did not comply with the man's demand and was able to leave the area unharmed.
Anyone with information regarding the robbery attempt is asked to call Ohio University police at 740-593-1911.
