Eastbound S.R. 16 Reopens Following Crash

GRANVILLE, Ohio -

Eastbound lanes of state Route 16 near Granville have been re-opened after a crash that sent two people to the hospital.

According to Licking County dispatchers, a call came in just before 2 p.m Monday, with the report of a two-vehicle crash at S.R. 16 and Cherry Valley Road.

Granville police said two people were transported by squads to area hospitals.  There is no word on the extent of the injuries at this time. 

The eastbound lanes of S.R. 16 were closed while police conducted the investigation.
