According to the Westminster Kennel Club the Doberman Pinscher is an elegant athlete in a tight-fitting wrapper.
Living in Dublin, we have one of the world's best examples of the breed. A true competitor and celebrity named Fifi.
She has 70 all-breed titles, won Best in Breed at the Westmisnter Dog Show this year, and made history this year by winning the Doberman pincher club of Americas National Specialty for the third year in a row.
According to owner Jocelyn Mullins, no Doberman in breed history as accomplished that.
Not only is Fifi a great example of breed standards she also has the poise and personality of a champion.
"She really craves that spotlight. When she walks in the ring she is like I am here. I mean she loves it she really does," said Mullins.
Fifi carries that out of the show ring too, acting as an ambassador for the breed.
"She's a great public figure. She enjoys meeting people. People could play with her and meet her she just really she enjoys it. Not all dogs enjoy it no matter what breed and she just enjoys it so much," said Mullins.
That's something quite apparent if you see Fifi's Facebook fan page; where she poses for pictures and invites her fan to be a part of her journey.
"I never expected that page to do that but I like it because people feel like they have ownership in her. They feel that they are part of the team and they are."
You can follow Fiffi on her Facebook fan page, The Fifinator (Fifi).
