
Sheriff's deputies have arrested a teen believed to have been armed in Hocking County Thursday.
According to the Hocking County Sheriff's Office, a 17-year-old boy was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend at a home near Lake Moor Village and Blosser Road.
The teen allegedly assaulted his girlfriend during the altercation.
Deputies say the boy then ran into nearby woods to avoid apprehension.
Deputies and canine officers were searching the area for the teen.
The teen was found hiding beneath a bridge, east of Mingo Park, shortly before 10 p.m.
An Ohio State Highway Patrol air unit located the teen after a tip was received on his possible location, according to deputies.
