CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -

Officials warn that several local children may have unknowingly had their picture taken by a man arrested for child pornography.

According to the Ohio Attorney General's office, agents with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) arrested 48-year-old William Noble Tuesday after serving a search warrant at his home on North Pohlman Road in Chillicothe.

The BCI began their investigation of Noble after obtaining evidence that he allegedly possessed or disseminated child pornography in September of 2012.

Attorney General Mike DeWine said that Noble may have been in possession of hundreds of photographs and videos.

Investigators also believe that some of the pictures are of local children taken without their knowledge.

"We are asking parents in Chillicothe to talk with their children and find out if they have had any contact with this suspect," said DeWine.

Noble is currently in the Ross County Jail on eight charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor.
