COLUMBUS, Ohio -
The Ohio Investigative Unit from the Department of Public Safety found counterfeit shoes and apparel during a raid at a south Columbus shop.
A search warrant was executed at the Lockbourne Smoke Shop at 1730 Lockbourne Rd. in Columbus Wednesday afternoon after the shop was administratively cited with improper conduct.
Investigators said that during an investigation, undercover agents were able to purchase alleged counterfeit goods such as Nike, Baby Phat and Michael Kors shoes as well as Major League Baseball and collegiate apparel.
No arrests have been made at this time. The case will be presented to the prosecutor for consideration of charges.
The administrative citation will be referred to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission for their consideration once criminal proceedings are complete. The shop's liquor license could be suspended or revoked.
