COLUMBUS, Ohio -
One person has been
hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in an east Columbus intersection
Tuesday afternoon.
According to police,
a pedestrian was struck in the intersection of Alum Creek Drive and East
Livingston Avenue at about 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Witnesses at the
scene tell NBC4 the victim was distracted and did not see the vehicle traveling
eastbound on East Livingston Avenue. The victim was struck and flipped over the
vehicle.
The victim was transported
to Grant Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
East Livingston
Avenue was closed for about 10 minutes after the crash occurred.
