Deputies uncovered a
possible methamphetamine lab in Fairfield County Monday afternoon.
Christopher Scott Kerekes was arrested at the home he shares with his mother on Queen Road in Fairfield Beach.
Investigators said they received several anonymous tips about the pair Monday.
When deputies arrived at the home, Kerekes' mother allegedly told authorities that her son was not home.
Deputies found him hiding, bent down with a box around him, officials said.
Investigators seized methamphetamine and pills from the property.
Deputies told NBC4 that Kerekes was making the drugs in the back yard.
Kerekes' mother could face charges of obstruction of justice and meth, after deputies allegedly found the drugs in a cigarette package in her car, NBC4's Denise Alex reported.
Fairfield Beach is near Buckeye Lake.
