COLUMBUS, Ohio -
Columbus police officers and Central
Ohio Crime Stoppers searching for a man suspected of shooting a person during
an attempted robbery at a gas station on November 30.
According to police, a victim was
getting gas at the UDF station located at 1043 W. Broad Street when he was allegedly
approached by 20-year-old Deonte Thomas.
Thomas allegedly displayed a gun and
demanded the victim give him cash. As the victim tried to flee from the gas
station, Thomas allegedly shot him.
Thomas then fled the scene.
Thomas is described as a black male
who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has black hair and
brown eyes. He has been charged with aggravated robbery and burglary.
