COLUMBUS, Ohio -
Columbus police detectives are asking for tips regarding the identity of a man suspected of robbing a Midwest Bank Tuesday.
Columbus police officers were dispatched to the Midwest Bank on Reed Road at about 3 p.m. on a report of a robbery.
Detectives say a man entered the Midwest Bank, pointed a gun at two different tellers, and demanded money. After receiving the cash the suspect fled from the scene, according to a report.
The suspect was described as a white male who is between the ages of 40 and 50 years old. He is between 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a tan fisherman hat, a dark coat, blue jeans, sunglasses, black gloves, and white and dark shoes. The suspect had a fake beard and mustache.
