Reward Offered For Tips In Christmas Eve Burglary

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBUS, Ohio -

A reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in connection with a Christmas Eve burglary.

At about 4:30 p.m. on December 24, 2012, someone broke into a home on the 1000 block of South Roys Avenue.

Once inside the home, the suspect began removing gifts, cash, gift cards and other personal property.

A home security camera recorded the male suspect loading the stolen goods into the trunk of a black late-model Honda Civic.

At one point, as the suspect was backing out of the driveway, he stopped the car so he could go back and pick up a stolen item he had dropped.

A $2,000 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information provided by January 30, 2013, that leads to an arrest in this case.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 614-645-TIPS (8477) or go to our website at www.stopcrime.org and e-mail your tip.   You can text a tip to "CRIMES" 274637, key word CMH.
