The Ohio Senate took a step toward protecting students in the battle against bullying Wednesday, by passing the Jessica Logan Act.
The bill would add cyberbullying to anti-harassment policies in Ohio schools.
The act is named after a Cincinnati high school student who committed suicide after she was bullied online. The bill now heads to the House for a concurrence vote. If passed, the bill would go to Gov. John Kasich to be signed into law.
