CLOVIS, NM (KRQE) - Parents are suing after a fight at a New Mexico preschool.
It happened last month at Future Generations Child Care Center in Clovis.
A worker, Elizabeth Parrez, walked into a classroom and threw punches at another worker, then threw her to the ground.
A 5-year-old girl was accidentally kicked in the head. That girl's parents are suing the school for negligence.
"You wouldn't even expect a 4-year-old to act like this, let alone adults, and this poor little girl was kicked in the head, traumatized," attorney Eric Dixon said.
It's unclear what the women were fighting over.
KRQE News 13 reached out to the school, but was told the director was unavailable.
