Police searching for suspects who stole 8 TVs from Columbus hotel

COLUMBUS (WCMH) -- Columbus police are searching for two suspects accused of stealing several TVs from a Columbus hotel.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at 2:56am, May 2, two men entered the Comfort Suites at 5944 Scarborough Blvd and somehow managed to acquire a housekeeper’s security card.

Police say the two men then used the security card to enter hotel rooms where they stole multiple 43 inch flatscreen TVs.

The suspects wrapped the TVs in in blankets, and loaded them into a blue GMC SUV.

Later the suspects returned in the SUV to the hotel and were accompanied by two other men in a dark Chrysler Pacifica.

According to police, the suspects entered the hotel and took additional TVs from rooms.

A total of eight TVs worth an estimated $2,400 were stolen.
