COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Another top leader within the Ohio Attorney general's office is on paid administrative leave.

The suspension of Communications Director Leo Jennings is the result of new information connected to the sexual harassment investigation of a co-worker, NBC 4's Patrick Preston reported.

Last week, Jennings was fielding media questions about the sexual harassment investigation of his friend and co-worker Anthony Gutierrez, director of general services for Attorney General Marc Dann's office.

Attorney General Spokesman Ted Hart wouldn't go into detail about how the information led to the suspension of Jennings, but said that Jennings did not come into the office on Monday morning.

"It is my understanding that the attorney general phoned and told him that he was placed on administrative leave, that he wanted to do that personally because of their long friendship," Hart said.

Jennings' salary is $102,000 a year. Gutierrez earns $87,500.

Both shared a Dublin condominium with Dann last year. Dann has since moved out and Gutierrez is now accused of sexually harassing two female staffers in the attorney general's office. One cited an alleged incident at the condo in September.

Around the same time, Jennings was reprimanded for cursing at a fellow state employee in an e-mail. It's the only incident in his personnel file, which NBC 4 requested on Monday.

NBC 4 attempted to reach Dann for an interview, but his office said he is not talking about the case.
