Ron Specht is NBC 4's home improvement expert.

You can watch his reports Sunday mornings between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

When he's not on TV, you can find Ron at The Home Depot, where he is a home remodeling, restoration and construction consultant.

Ron's most memorable moment in television came when he had Ty Pennington, the host of "Trading Spaces," as one of his guests during a live segment.

When he's away from work, you can expect to see Ron working on improving his own home, watching NASCAR, or sailing on Lake Erie.

He said that his greatest accomplishment is being responsible for the inspiration and creation of the book, "The Toastmasters International Guide To Successful Speaking."

Ron enjoys Toastmasters events, and serving on the National Kidney Foundation of Ohio and 4's Army.

He and his wife, Rebecca, have two children. They have a dog, a cat, and more than 30 fish.
