OTTAWA, Ohio—Officials say two women who picked up an employment application at a northwest Ohio nursing home also walked off with a Nintendo Wii video game system.
Administrator Jessica Trinko at Putnam Acres Care Center in Ottawa says the Wii bowling and baseball games are particularly popular among the facility’s residents.
They didn’t have to do without them for long. Trinko says witnesses at the center were able to identify the two women, and the sheriff’s department quickly recovered the Wii after it was taken Sunday evening.
Putnam County Sheriff Jim Beutler says investigators plan to meet with prosecutors to determine whether any charges will be filed.
